My Ethos

I'm a teacher, but really I'm a learner. I want my passion for learning history and social studies to infect all my students! My dream is for Jewish kids to feel connected to history and their Jewish heritage, and to stay curious about the world for the rest of their lives.

My Credentials

A graduate of Bais Yaakov High School of Chicago and Bnos Chava Seminary in Jerusalem, I have a bachelor's degree in secondary education with a social studies focus from Indiana University South Bend. I currently teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade social studies at South Bend Hebrew Day School, and my curriculum was created for real students in a real classroom!

My Curriculum

The Bayamim Hahaym Bazman Hazeh curriculum is a series of colorful, appealing handouts and creative assessments which look at world history, social studies, and geography through a Jewish lens. It includes lesson plans for teachers, many hands-on activities, and carefully curated video links. The BHBH Curriculum is suitable for 5th-8th grades.
